Biography
Anindo Chatterjee is a renowned Tabla player of Farukhabad gharana. He is a disciple of Pt. Jnan Prakash Ghosh. He is gifted with an ability to summon crystal-clear Bol-s (syllables) from Dayan-Bayan (Tabla & Dugga).
In addition to solo performances, Chatterjee accompanied Sitar players Pandit Nikhil Banerjee, Pandit Budhahitya Mukherjee, Ustad Rais Khan; Sarod players Pt. Buddhadev Das Gupta and Ust. Ali Akbar Kahn; Flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia; Santoor player Pandit Shivkumar Sharma; and vocalists Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur and Gangubai Hangal.
