Hello everyone,

Here is my question: I am looking for information about Raga Samay. I don't want to know when to play what - there is ample information on that available - but rather about the theory behind it. Does anyone know any book on this topic he or she would care to recommend? I can read English, German, French, and Hindi (my Sanskrit is very rusty). Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Everyone,

I have listened to Kaushi Kanada by Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande and have listened to Sampurn Malkaunsa by Gaansaraswati Kishori Amonkar. Can someone elaborate on the difference between the two Raags? Swarganga Raagbase seems to have Sampurn Malkaunsa but not Kaushi Kanada.
