Krishnendra Wadikar is a prominent vocalist from Hindustani Classical Music from Kirana Gharana with skills of rendering other formats of light classical music like Thumri, Santvani, Natyasangeet and Daaswani. Krishnendra Wadikar hails from Hubli (Karnataka). Krishnendra Wadikar started his first music education from Late Pandit Arjunsa Nakod of Gwalior Gharana. Later, he continued his musical journey under the guidance of Pandit Shripati Padegar who is a senior disciple of Bharatratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. Krishnendra Wadikar has been falicitated by Sangeet Premi Mandal, Thane and awarded with a title 'Pandit'. He is also a graded artist at All India Radio, Sangli. He also participated in many prestigious music festivals which includes Savai Gandharva Sangeet Mahotsav, Pune 2008 and Savai Gandharva Sangeet Festival, Kundgol, Swarzankar Mahotsav, Aurangabad (2013) and many more.
