Biography
Tavaqqul Hussain Khan of Bareilly was a musician in the court of Lacknow and later in Rampur. He was basically a Thumri singer. His compositions of Thumris with pen-name 'Sanad Piya' are remarkable. He composed many 'Bandish Ki Thumri' or 'Bandhi Thumri' in various Ragas. His contribution in developement of Thumri as a musical genre is notable.
