Biography
Shamim Zahir is a well known Sarod artist of Bangladesh. He was a disciple of Pandit Biren Banerjee of Kolkatta. He also attended demonstration class of great Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He focuses on purity of raga when playing instead of going short-cut for public image. He is class " A" catagory musician of Bangladesh Bater & Television. He is a teacher of Whaid Accadamy of Music.
