Biography
Narayan Bodas is an Hindustani classical vocalist. Known for contributions to Hindustani classical music, performance, teaching, and repertoire building.
Narayan Bodas recieved training for music under his father Pandit Laxmanrao Bodas as well as Pandit Pralhad Ganu (a singer and Dilruba player, disciple of Ustad Khadim Hussain Khan of Agra Gharana). He is a regular performer and Guru. Narayan Bodas also had a long career as a stage-singer in Marathi musical theatre.
He was principal of Gandharva Mahavidyalay at Vashi for few years. After his retirement, he is settled in Pune and is teaching some students. Most prominent of this disciples is his own son Kedar Bodas.
