Devashish Dey

Devashish Dey is a fine and talented Hindustani classical vocalist based in Varanasi. He was trained under able guidance of Pt. Pashupati Nath Mishra (Disciple of Pt. Mahadev Prasad Mishra - Banaras Gharana), Pt. Mukund Vishnu Kalvint (Disciple of Padmabhushan Pt. S.N.Ratanjankar - Agra Gharana and Pt. Rajabhaiya Puchwale - Gwalior Gharana). Hence in his presentation all these three gharana's presence is very prominent. He is 'A' Grade artist in Classical Vocal in AIR Doordarshan. His area of expertise is as wide as Classical Khayal to Thumri, Dadra, Tappa, Chaitl, Kazri, even Bhajan & Bengali songs.
