Harish Tiwari is an Hindustani classical vocalist. Birthplace: Deoria District, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Educational qualifications: PhD in music from Delhi University
Gurus: Pt. Thakur Choubey, Pt. Ajeet Bhattachary and Pt. Nandanji (disciple of legendary vocalist Pt. Omkarnath Thakur in Banaras Hindu University), guidance from Pt. Kundanlal Sharma taught him the intricacies of the 'Shyamchaurasi Gharana' of Panjab. For 8 years, he learnt the execution of complex 'Taan' patterns along with the art of professional presentation with Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi.
