Biography
Tushar Dutta (born 1969) is an Hindustani classical vocalist. Tushar Dutta is one of the foremost vocalists of Bengal today. Hailing from Durgapur, he was selected for the prestigious ITC Sangeet Academy to train successively under Pts. A. T. Kanan and Arun Bhaduri in the Kirana style, and later he received Taalim from PT. K. G. Ginde of Agra gharana.
He is a top-graded artist of All India Radio and has performed in the Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan (Rohtak, 2993) apart from prestigious conferences, festivals and events like the Dover Lane Music Conference (Kolkata), Sawai Gandharv Festival (Pune), ITC Sammelans (all-India), Swaraganga Festival (Mumbai), Saptak (Ahmedabad), Chhayanaut Classical Music Festival (Dhaka), West Bengal State Music Academy Festival (Kolkata) besides giving solo concerts and workshops in USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, France, Denmark, UAE, Oman, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc.
