She has a Master's Degree in MusicFrom Pune University. She is A Grade Artist of All India Radio. She is proficient in Khayal Gayaki and also ligand also in Thumri, Natyageet. She is a recipient of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Scholarship,Fellowship from Dept of Science and Technogy for propogating classical music, through Science.
