रैन अन्धेरी काली, बिजली चमके
कैसे जाऊं मैं जल भरन

Meaning
My friend, the clouds are thundering and pouring. (rum jhum = phrase used in Hindi to describe the sound of rain) The night is pitch dark with flashes of lightening. How can I go to fetch water ? (the women go to the riverside with a pot to fetch water) beacuase the clouds are thundering and pouring.
