Meaning
The poet of this Bandish asks its listeners to harbour and develop deep Love as sweet as honey for the Creator of the Universe. They try to elicit the love in the nature by giving an illustration of the cuckoo bird singing early in the morning. As it\'s melodious shrill spreads across the four directions, light cool breeze begins to flow reciprocating its cry for love. The poet is trying to inspire us to love the Creator in the same way as the cuckoo bird. If we call out to Him with earnest love from within us, then he surely responds just like the cool breeze. The poet then poses a question for us too! He challenges us asking, \"Tell the truth, who can really stand up to love the Almighty with such pure emotion?\"
