मुरली बजाई सुंदर प्यारे
जमुना किनारे नंददुलारे
जसोदा के प्यारे चित रतनारे ।
येरी बांसुरी प्यारी
सगरी बिसारी सुध हमरी
केही बन की हो तुम लकरी ॥
Meaning
The rendition of your flute is so beautiful. On the banks of the Jaamuna river, Oh son of Nand ! Your flute is so dear and you play it in such a manner, that we are spell bound. Wonder why must the flute remain to be a mere stick?
