sadaaraMga kee batiyaaAO tabahoo na maanee
pala meM dukha de gayo re ||

गुमानी जगत तज गयो
जगत तज गयो रे ।
सदारंग की बतियाँ तबहू न मानी
पल में दुख दे गयो रे ॥
Meaning
There are two possible interpretations of this bandish. The arrogant person either renounced worldly attachments and became a hermit, or he left the world itself (i.e. passed away).
