Meaning
Come, O Shyam (Krishna), come and play Holi with me. Spray your pichkari filled with colors, O playful son of Nanda, full of mischief. Lost completely in playing with colors and gulal, Everyone is exhausted in this joyful play. Now don’t tease me anymore, O Shyam Spray the pichkari full of colors, O mischievous son of Nanda.
Notes
This bandish evokes the Holi leela of Krishna, filled with shringār rasa (romantic playfulness) and madhur bhakti.
