(In this Bandish, an incidence is portrayed when a husband is overdrunk, uncontrolled. Bowing down to his wife, he is asking to serve some more liquor. Embarrassed with this, the annoyed wife is asking him to get control on himself.) स्थायी : पीवन लागो मदमत (You have started drinking liquor – again!), मदमत भरवा । (Refilling the goblet with liquor) मांझ : लागी लगन सों धरियो, परियो पाय सजन मै सन ।। (You have lost control on yourself and pleading to me for liquor while bowing down to me – Remember that I am your beloved wife, don’t bow down to me.
