Meaning
This Bandish explains the importance of Guru (in a spiritual sense) - When I got an acquaintance (saath) with Guru, the real Guru (satguru) made me completely satisfied (pure sukh upaje) as the anklets (Tore) of unstruck cosmic sound (anahat naad) started jingling (baje), i.e. he evoked the Kundalini. With Guru’s acquaintance all sins (paap), anguish (taap) and remorse (santaap) got dissolved (naase) as the tree of immortal body (amrut kala vrukh) bloomed (harase) with vanishing of all mundane things (sab naase) and activating of all spiritual points (Naadi and Chakras) in the body (this is symbolically said as ‘anand kari mil sundar naari). In this way, Guru really made my birth (Jaat) worth of living (savaari).
