लरजे हिया बिन पिया ।
कारी गहरी बदरिया
असुवन लागी झरिया ॥
Meaning
In the rainy season, a woman in love says: I am scared of the lightening because my beloved is not with me. The dark black rainy clouds are pouring down Same like my eyes filled with tears (due to separation of my beloved).

Notes
Raga Jayant Malhar is sung in two ways - 1. mixture of Gaud Malhar & Jaijaiwanti 2. mixture of Miyan Malhar & Jaijaiwanti. Here in this Bandish, there is second version of Jayant Malhar, i.e. Miyan Malhar with combination of Jaijaiwanti.
