ye ho neenda na aaye nainana meM
piyaa ke dekhe bina mukha |
umara saaree beeta gayee
tumharee socha meM sajeele
aba to aavo tabahee hove sukha ||

ये हो नीन्द न आये नैनन में
पिया के देखे बिन मुख ।
उमर सारी बीत गयी
तुम्हरी सोच में सजीले
अब तो आवो तबही होवे सुख ॥
Meaning
I am unable to sleep without seeing the face of my beloved one. My life has passed In your thoughts, O Sajile (name of the composer) Please come - only then there will be happiness. (Note: The poem is written by Sajile as if it is sung by his beloved one)
