डार डार पात पात
नव कलियन खिल जात
अत उमंगत मोरा जिया ।
आयी है बसंत रितू
नाचत मोर पपिहा बोले
सरसरंग ने मन मोहलिया ॥
Meaning
The cuckoo bird (Eudynamys scolopaceus) is singing. On every branch and leaf of the tree there are new flowers are blossoming and it makes me feel very happy. The spring season is here, the peacocks are dancing and cuckoo bird is singing, all the beautiful colors of the spring have mesmerized me.
