सुंदर जोबन मदमाती खेले होरी ।
गुलाल अबीर केसर पिचकारी
और कुमकुमा मुख मींडत रोरी ॥
Meaning
Come, a great festivity has erupted! The beautiful, youth-intoxicated one plays Holi. Gulal, abeer, saffron, and the pichkari (water-squirter), and kumkum is being smeared on the face along with roree (red powder). The bandish celebrates the joyous, exuberant atmosphere of Holi, likely depicting Krishna or a beloved playing the festival of colors with abandon.
