Meaning
This bandish reflects on the profound idea of **Naad as Brahman**, the divine source of both music and creation. It explains that from the primordial sound, known as Aadi Naad or Brahma Naad, the swaras themselves come into being. These swaras are not merely musical notes but manifestations of the same divine vibration, and their true expansion and depth are understood only by the enlightened musicians, the true *gunijan*, who have realized the essence of Naad through knowledge and practice. In the antara, the composition presents a deeper philosophical insight by describing true knowledge (*vidyaa*) as the seed of Brahman, while all other forms of ignorance (*avidyaa*) keep one away from this realization. It suggests that through the understanding of Naad and swara, one can transcend ignorance and experience the divine within. The reference to *Brahma randhra* points to the highest spiritual center, indicating that through the refinement of sound and inner awareness, the swaras themselves resonate within the body and connect the individual to the universal consciousness. Overall, the bandish conveys that music is not separate from spirituality, but is a direct path to realizing the divine truth embedded within sound.
