अंबवा की डारी पर बौर छाया ।
कल कूक से वसुधा गुंजा दे
स्वरमाधुरी जग को पिला दे ॥
Meaning
Oh Kokilaa (cuckoo bird), here the spring season (Madhu Maas, i.e. Vasant) has arrived, Every branch of mango tree is full with bloom. (In this pleasant time) Make the world reverberating with your charming call, Let all the world sip up the honey of your melodies.
