This Raag is created by Pt. Jagannath buwa Purohit ‘Gunidas’, later titled as 'Jog Kauns'. But Pt Kumar Gandharva, who got the fortune to learn this Raga from the creator Gunidas in its formative stage, he sticked to the specific phrasing characteristics of the Raga; which extinct after naming it 'Jog Kauns'.
