<p><strong>Tejendra Narayan Majumdar</strong> (born 1961) is an sarangi artist. Known for contributions to Hindustani classical music, performance, teaching, and repertoire building.</p><p>He stood first in the All India Radio music competition in 1981 and was awarded the President's gold medal and the Pandit D. V. Paluskar award. Now he is a performer busy in concerts all over the globe.</p><p>Besides being a Sarod player of high calibre, he also has scored music for Bengali films such as Tollylights, Hanankaal.</p>
