Biography
Tejendra Narayan Majumdar (born 1961) is an sarangi artist. Known for contributions to Hindustani classical music, performance, teaching, and repertoire building.
He stood first in the All India Radio music competition in 1981 and was awarded the President's gold medal and the Pandit D. V. Paluskar award. Now he is a performer busy in concerts all over the globe.
Besides being a Sarod player of high calibre, he also has scored music for Bengali films such as Tollylights, Hanankaal.
