Santanu Bhattacharya

Santanu Nakulesh Bhattacharya is a Commerce Graduate from Calcutta University and has attained degree Sangeet Prabhakar from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. He received lessons of Tabla under Pt. Ramesh Chandra Hazra (Benaras Gharana), Prof Parimal Chakraborty, Prof Amitav Guhathakurata, Pt. Swapan Chaudhuy and Pt. Aninda Chatterjee. He has done research on “Restoration of lost Bols and Sound Wave casing to various type of Bol As an aid to treatment of normalization of blood pressure removal of Mental Stress. He is the recipient of Golden Award from Bharatiya Sangeet Academy (6th year &7th year), Sangeet Bhushan award from Utcal Yuva Sanskrutik Sangha (Cuttack), Juniar National Fellowship in Tabla for 2008-2009 (Ministry of Culture), Tabla Workshop Certificate & Music Appreciation Certificate from West Bengal State Music Academy. He got title 'ShilpaGunee' from Sanskrit Vikas Kendra.
