Biography
Saurav Dandekar (born 2000) is an Hindustani classical vocalist. a musician from Pune. He is learning tabla from Mohan Parasnis, Harmonium from Shruti Godbole and Pramod Marathe and vocal from Manjiri Karve-Alegaonkar, Srijan Deshpande and Satyasheel Deshpande.
Saurav has accompanied Pt. Nayan Ghosh, Manjiri Alegaonkar, Mohan Parasnis, Vinayak Phatak, Atul Khandekar, Anuradha Marathe and others. He has also performed in the renowned Aundh Mahotsav.
More than a performer, Saurav works as a composer, researcher, and archiver and is an aspiring musicologist.
Saurav has completed BCom and MA in French and is studying Japanese simultaneously. He is working as a French language instructor and subtitler while studying music deeply.
