Elder of famous Ali brothers, Nazakat Ali Khan & Salamat Ali Khan belonged to the Sham-Chaurasi Gharana. He received his training from his father Vilayat Ali Khan and after the early demise of his father, from his uncle Niaz Hussain Shami. He along with his brother gave his first performance at a tender age of 9 at Harvallabh Sangeet Sammelan and created a furor. Such was their renditions that the whole of the audience was spell-bound and the duo never looked back. They traveled all over the world giving performances including, Germany, France, Iran, Italy, Holland, Russia, Nepal and all the main cities of India.
