Padma Deshpande is a grand-daughter-in-law of Kirana Vocalist Pandit Sawai Gandharava. She started learning from her mother Smt. Sudha Ranade, continued with Shri Vijay Karandikar and then had deeper training under Kirana doyen Smt. Saraswatibai Rane. She performs regularly at Sawai Gandharva Festival and is also an AIR top rated artist. She has composed several Bandishes which are published in 2 albums. |
