Ustad Amanat Ali Khan was a vocalist belonging to Patiala gharana, hailing from Pakistan. Amanat Ali Khan was born in Hoshiarpur (Punjab). He was son of Akhtar Hussain Khan and the grandson of Ustad Ali Baksh, the founder of Patiala Gharana. He was honoured with the 'Pride of Performance' award by the President of Pakistan in 2009. He was father of Ustad Asad Amanat Ali Khan, Amjad Amanat Ali Khan and Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan. |
