Vamanrao Sadolikar was trained under Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluksar in Gandharva MahaVidyalay and later got training for Jaipur - Atrauli Gayaki under Ustad Bhurji Khan and Ustad Alladiya Khan. His brother Madhukar Sadolikar was Bhurji Khan's disciple, too. Vamanrao also acted in Marathi musical plays in 'Shivraj Sangeet Natak Mandali' of Govindrao Tembe. His song 'Ram Rangi Rangale Man' and acting in 'Sant Tulsidas' got huge popularity. He trained many in music including Ram Marathe, and his own daughter Shruti Sadolikar Katkar. |
